JMC's 80mm Fan Roadmap
JMC's fan line will undergo several phases of
development offering customers acoustic improvements, fan speed
control, and increased output. Read ahead to see where we are focusing
our development efforts on for the 80mm DC fan.

JMC Cooler Roadmap
JMC is aggressively designing cooling solutions
to meet the thermal requirements of the market today and into the
future as machines run faster and heat up. Our projected roadmap
today consists of Aluminum and Copper active heat sinks, heatpipes,
and liquid cooling. The chart below outlines our plan according
to thermal resistance requirements as measured in ºC/Watt.
JMC will also continue to investigate advanced technologies that
will reach thermal resistances below the numbers represented below.

Head Acoustics Chamber Implemented in JMC Austin Design Center
JMC is in the process of implementing a new head
acoustics chamber in the Austin Design Center that will be available
for acoustics testing by the 1st quarter of 2004. The new anechoic
chamber provides a free-field environment for the measurem ent of hemispherically radiated sound waves emanating
from air moving devices. With the chamber, JMC can precisely measure
rating sound output and provide directivity information to customers.
Ideally suited for sound diagnosis, analysis, and
design of future products, the acoustic chamber will also arm JMC
with improved:
Sound and Vibration Analysis
Sound Quality
Sound Design
Product Development
Quality Control
