JMC Introduces New Intel® Pentium® 4 and AMD™ Heatsinks

AUSTIN, TX - September 28, 2001 - JMC Products, a leading manufacturer and supplier of thermal cooling solutions for technology and industrial applications, has expanded its line of Arctic heatsink cooling products. The new Arctic Ice™ and Arctic Blast™ were designed specifically to meet the latest Intel® and AMD™ processor cooling requirements.

The Arctic Ice™ was developed exclusively for the Intel® Pentium® 4 for speeds up to 2.0 GHz. This all-Aluminum heatsink efficiently transfers heat away from the processor with an ambient temperature of 42° C and a thermal resistance of 0.45° per watt.

The Arctic Blast™ was designed for the AMD Duron™ with speeds up to 1.0 GHz, the AMD Athlon™ with speeds up to 1.4 GHz, and the Intel® Pentium® III Coppermine with speeds up to 1100 MHz. This all-Aluminum heatsink also provides efficient heat transfer away from the processor with an ambient temperature of 45° C and a thermal resistance of 0.73° per watt.

Both the Arctic Ice™ and the Arctic Blast™ incorporate a high quality, dual ball bearing 60x60x15mm fan equipped with tachometer output. The thermal interface for both units is a highly effective Chromerics T725 pad.

The Arctic Ice™ ranges in price from $5.97 to $7.90 and the Arctic Blast™ ranges in price from $4.85 to $6.46, both pricing depends on quantity ordered.
