JMC Announces its Compliance with the Server System Infrastructure (SSI) Initiative

AUSTIN, TX - August 23, 2001 - JMC Products, a leading manufacturer and supplier of thermal cooling solutions for technology and industrial applications, today announced the adoption of the Server System Infrastructure (SSI) specifications for all product design and manufacturing.

The SSI has been initiated because a lack of standard specifications for common server systems requires OEMs to frequently redesign the basic infrastructure of their server products. Intel is leading the SSI initiative to remedy this problem, defining industry specifications for common elements within server systems.

The goal of the SSI initiative is to deliver a set of specifications covering common server hardware elements to lay the groundwork for future growth in the server market. JMC has agreed to adopt the specifications outlined by the SSI, therefore complying with standards and contributing to server growth.
