JMC Introduces AC Fan Arsenal to Combat Heat Problems

Austin, Texas - October 24, 2000 - JMC, a leading supplier of cooling fans and thermal products for technology and industrial applications, today announced the addition of its new millennium AC Fans. These high quality fans are certified to meet UL, cUL, CE, and EMC requirements. All AC Fans employ aluminum alloy frames, reinforced plastic UL94V-0 blades, thermally protected motors and are available in both 120 and 230 VAC versions.

A total of eight sizes ranging from 80 x 80 x 25mm to 172 x 150 x 51mm allow airflow performances from 16 CFM to 242 CFM. JMC designed these cost effective AC fans to provide the longest life cycles, lowest noise and best performance setting a new standard of high performance. "The advantage of our product versus other manufacturers on the market is our unique noise reduction techniques," said Loran Frost, Director of Sales and Marketing at JMC. "These techniques include using the highest quality ball bearing construction, precision tooled components, and optimum blade design." As an example, the 120 x 120 x 38mm model is available with two different blade options. The 7-blade design is best for applications where the highest airflow and least acoustic noise are required. When static pressure is the significant design consideration, the 5-blade version leads the pack. "Our studies confirm that no other fan will match the 49 dBA of this design at a static pressure level of 0.39 inches H²0 with a comparable 3100 RPM."
